Bill’s Story: How Hope Lodge Supported His Cancer Journey

Mission Speaker

Meet Bill Carman

Originally from Queens, NY, Bill Carman moved to Florida I 1978 to attend college, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his life.  After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Leo College and later obtaining his MBA from the University of Tampa, Bill launched a long career with Great Bay Distributors, Inc., where he dedicated 43 years to the beverage industry before retiring in January 2025.  His Passion for the field was complemented by his commitment to education, as he spent the last seven years as an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida, teaching distribution in the Brewing Arts Program.

Bill’s professional journey is matched by his personal life.  This month, he celebrates 40 years of marriage to his wife, Naomi.  Together, they have a son Max, who serves the community as a Firefighter Paramedic in Safety Harbor, Florida. Now residing in Crystal Beach, Fl, Bill looks forward to spending more time with family and pursuing his passion for travel in his retirement.
